Building strong, personal relationships with your clients is essential to gaining trust and successfully closing deals. However, we also recognize that the growing volume of brokerless homebuyers trying to connect with loan officers has created challenges in streamlining communication and lead matching. To improve this experience, we’ve made updates to Elroy—the client-facing platform—that will help you engage with clients more effectively.
Why This Matters
In the past, brokerless homebuyers who wanted to schedule a call with a loan officer were directed to a Calendly round robin where they were matched with a loan officer from Morty’s HQ team. While this system worked, the increasing volume of leads meant that HQ loan officers had to balance helping customers with other efforts—often leading to disconnects and delays. This setup made it harder for loan officers to develop deeper relationships with clients, impacting overall engagement.
With this update, we’ve replaced the Calendly link with a simple button that allows homebuyers to indicate their interest in being matched with a loan officer. This solution ensures a smoother transition for clients who haven’t been assigned a broker yet.
What’s New?
✅ Easy Interest Indication – Homebuyers can now click a button to signal interest in connecting with a loan officer before being assigned to a broker.
🔍 HQ Review Process – This creates an event that notifies HQ, and the lead will be reviewed and matched by HQ in the background.
⚡ Future Automation – In the future, this process will be fully automated in Elroy, allowing homebuyers to match with a loan officer directly as they indicate interest.
How This Helps You
🔹 Improved Client Engagement – Homebuyers will feel more connected to a loan officer early on, reducing any friction during the process.
🔹 Better Lead Management – HQ can more easily manage the growing volume of brokerless clients without interrupting their other responsibilities.
🔹 Stronger Relationships – With a smoother matching process, loan officers can focus on building relationships and providing valuable guidance to homebuyers right from the start.
This update in Elroy is designed to simplify the connection process for brokerless homebuyers, giving both the client and loan officers a better experience—while setting the stage for future automation to streamline workflows even further.
